Quail Meadow Animal Hospital was founded with the goal to provide good quality medicine combined with good customer service. We are here to provide you with the tools and education you need to take care of your pet. Dr. Andrea Hernandez
Veterinarian / Owner
Dr. Hernandez was born in Caracas, Venezuela. She moved to the United States when she was a kid. She attended the University of Florida where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in animal sciences. Dr. H attended St. Matthew’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grand Cayman Islands. She completed her clinical year at Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated in early 2011.
Dr. H has a special interest in clinical pathology, internal medicine, dental care, and ultrasonography.
When she is not at work, Dr. H enjoys time with her seven dogs, two cats, and four horses.
Emily
Emily first became interested in veterinary medicine during high school, when she volunteered at her local veterinary clinic. She has been in the Veterinary field since 2014. Seeing the deep love between pets and owners is what keeps Emily inspired every day. Her priority is making sure our patients are always comfortable and healthy. She enjoys the variety of medical needs our patients require and enjoys helping our veterinarian in all different tasks. She is passionate about dentistry and broadening her education within the veterinary field. Emily shares her house with her 2 dogs (Gator & Gretchen), and 1 cat (Princess). Outside of work Emily enjoys going to the beach, horseback riding and spending time with her 1-year-old daughter and family.
Sandra
Technician
Sandra was born in Key West, FL. She has been in the veterinary field since 2009. She knew she wanted to be in the veterinary industry since she was a little girl. She volunteered at a very young age which confirmed her aspirations. She currently has 3 dogs, a horse, 6 goats and her personal flock of chickens. In her free time she enjoys horseback riding, off roading in her jeep and hanging out with her daughter.
