Quail Meadow Animal Hospital was founded with the goal to provide good quality medicine combined with good customer service. We are here to provide you with the tools and education you need to take care of your pet. Dr. Andrea Hernandez
Veterinarian / Owner
Dr. Hernandez was born in Caracas, Venezuela. She moved to the United States when she was a kid. She attended the University of Florida where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in animal sciences. Dr. H attended St. Matthew’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grand Cayman Islands. She completed her clinical year at Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated in early 2011.
Dr. H has a special interest in clinical pathology, internal medicine, dental care, and ultrasonography.
When she is not at work, Dr. H enjoys time with her seven dogs, two cats, and four horses.
Emily
Lead Veterinary Assistant
Emily’s passion for veterinary medicine began in high school when she volunteered at her local veterinary clinic. Since then, she has dedicated herself to the field, working in veterinary care since 2014. What motivates her every day is witnessing the deep bond between pets and their owners, which reinforces her commitment to the work she does. Emily’s priority is ensuring that every patient is comfortable and healthy, and she enjoys the variety of medical needs that come with working in veterinary care. She takes pleasure in assisting our veterinarian with a wide range of tasks and is particularly passionate about dentistry, seeking to further broaden her expertise in the field.
Outside of work, Emily shares her home with her English Springer Spaniel, Jolene. She enjoys horseback riding, particularly participating in trail obstacles, and cherishes quality time with her daughter and family.
Briana
Veterinary Receptionist
Briana is a devoted veterinary receptionist with a deep love for all animals, reflected in her warm interactions with pet owners at her clinic. With a background in showing and breeding pigs, she brings valuable expertise in animal care and behavior. At home, she has a lively menagerie that includes four dogs, two cats, two turtles, and a fish tank, showcasing her commitment to animal welfare. Beyond her work life Briana enjoys spending time with her husband exploring the outdoors.
